“ A Wonderful German Dining Experience! If you’re looking for authentic Bavarian cuisine with a cozy atmosphere, this restaurant is a must-visit! We went there for Staff Christmas Party around 24 people. From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of delightful. We started with the Vol-Au-Vent 'Pompadour appetizer, a perfect prelude to what was to come. For the main course, we ordered the Seafood Saint Jacques and Chicken Schnitzel Oscar (which is available on request). Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. An added treat was the warm bread with flavored butter served at the table—it was absolutely delicious and kept us happily munching throughout the meal. Our servers, Tarun and Jackie, were outstanding! Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, they provided excellent recommendations and added to the warm ambiance of the restaurant. The cocktails Simply amazing! Their bartender worked magic with creations like Pina Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri, Each drink was a masterpiece, both in flavor and presentation. To top it all off, the desserts were a dream come true. The Black Forest Cake and Cheesecake were rich, moist, and a perfect end to our meal. Overall, this German gem is a wonderful spot for an evening of great food, drinks, and hospitality. ”

“ We were skiing in Panorama for a few days and decided to check out the Black Forest as it was gluten-free and I love old world European anything. We were very happy! The gluten free options were in abundance. My family enjoyed the regular fair. They brought out bread first (warm GF bun for me). I had the gluten-free schnitzel Oscar which was delicious. It was tender, cooked and sauced perfectly. For dessert I had the Creme de Caramel which was light and just the right balance of cream and sweet. They have a dedicated fryer for those with allergies. The only thing that I wasn't crazy about was how long old dishes hung around. We gobbled up our Breads and salad and the dishes hung around until dinner. Nothing to dire but when you are fine dining you don't want dishes hanging around. ”

“ EDIT Apr. 20, 2025. 4 of us had dinner. Again, it was great! We continue to highly recommend this restaurant. ................. We 3 had dinner on a Friday night in July 2024. Online reservation was easy. The "Oberkellner" greeted us warmly and showed us to our table. Our server was Samantha (from Quesnel, BC). She was great. We had three cocktails while deciding our meals. All were well made and well presented. We were served bread rolls and two kinds of butter (garlic and regular). We ordered appies and mains. I will not get into details, but all were great, well plated and well presented. We had a bottle of wine with dinner (35 of German Reisling). We were too full for dessert! Overall this is a great restaurant for a German/European meal in Invermere. We highly recommend it. You will not go wrong! ”
